1600s Potosi Mint 1/2 Reale Pendant in 14kt and Sterling Mount. Philip IV type Monogram, No Assayer mark, Uncommon type.

Still a not very studied or known part of numismatics, the Philip III and IV era of 1/2 reales from various mints bear no mintmark or date or assayer mark. Making them hard to classify and a challenge for numismatists. Regardless, the die design is bold and unique as well as the monogram and orientation of the obverse side. Both dies of this coin are lined up which is also a rare attribute. Set in Sterling and 14kt Mounting. Recovered from Rimac River.
