This Rare and boldly detailed 2 Reales off the Atocha maintains its original Napkin Deal Certificate. Marked Grade 2 in 1985, This coin in todays standards is a Grade 1. With a full and pleasing cross side strike and a full obverse strike showing a full shield, denomination mark, mintmark, as well as an interesting Assayer mark. A bold Q is superimposed over a smaller C. After consulting fellow experts it was concluded this is a Q/C Transitional assayer type coin. Rare and very collectable in the world of Atocha coins. This piece is exceptional to collect loose or make into a pendant.
